Happy Holidays - Photo Inspiration Week at ATSM

Hey crafty friends!  It's time for another challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More and this week have a lovely holiday photo to spark your creativity.

I drew from the color palette and added some gold and red accents to my wreath.  I stamped the wreath and then overlayed it with some die cut leaves.  The sentiment and bell embellishments are from some sticker packs I've had in my stash forever.  I love it when you dig up something you've forgotten and put it to good use!

I also have some family photos and some news to share.  Here are some highlights from our very first family photo shoot.  Ansley is 4 now, and you can have a look at my fabulous husband, Ken :)

As you can see, there is a bit more of me to love these days because we are expecting our second child February 19 (Which can't come soon enough as far as this pregnant lady is concerned!)  We are having another little girl, and are currently completely stumped for names...any suggestions?

Trick or Treat - CAS at ATSM

Halloween Ballerina - Make Your Mark at ATSM

Hey crafty friends!  Are you ready to Make Your Mark with us this week at Addicted to Stamps and More?  I thought this pretty little ballerina might look cute with a spooky Halloween feel.  I want to use some of the techniques from the copic marker class so I decided to try coloring my own background.  I used a very subtle lined gray and while I was feeling "brave" I threw in some hand drawn spiders to complete her spooky look.

I also have some more "homework" to share from Day 9 of the Copics class, focusing on backgrounds.  I haven't made a card with my image yet, but I played around and made this scene using the cloud background technique.  It's very subtle and hopefully it shows up enough in this photo.
