Snips & Snails 12x12 Layout

This layout is part going to be part of a scrapbook I'm making for a friend's baby shower.  She's having a boy and I'm putting together a book that's all ready to add any pictures she wants.  I haven't really gotten started yet and I realized this baby shower is coming up in 2 weeks, so the pressure is on!  I find it hard to get started when I'm making a layout without knowing what pictures will be used, the pics are such a major part of getting inspiration for what kind of page I want to I had to look for inspiration elsewhere.

I came across this challenge over at Hand Stamped Sentiments, the idea is to use blue glass as your inspiration so I started thinking of how I could incorporate this into my book.  Anyone else ever put bugs in jars when they were little? Seems like a little boy thing to do :)

As hard as it is to start these layouts without pics, I think it may be even more difficult to decide when it's done.  I have a hard time ever deciding it's "Finished" because it always seems bare with no cute little baby pictures in it.  Oh well, those are not mine to choose this time :)

I used my Cameo to cut the title, jars and the snail.  I think he's pretty cute.  I added some wooden buttons from my stash, I wish I knew who made them because I would love to get more. Let's just hope the Mommy-to-be likes it!  Thanks for looking!
