A Valentine... Challenges with Bree {again!}

Hey friends!  I'm happy to announce the return of a blogging tradition... Challenges with Bree! One of my bestest crafty friends is Breelin over at Craft-somnia Momma.  She is super talented, sweet as pie and just all-around awesome.  (Did I mention she was a finalist for the Stampin' Up Artisan Award last year?)  Check out her blog, it's full of great stuff!  We haven't done it in a long time but we used to take turns choosing a group of challenges to tackle "together" and each put our own twist on the same group of ideas.

This week I chose the sketch from CAS(E) this Sketch!, the inspiration photo from Curtain Call and the Emboss It theme at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge blog.  I can't wait to see what Bree comes up with!  Here's my card:

 I decided it was about time I made my first shaker card, and I filled the innards with sequins and glitter.

Thanks so much for stopping by, keep it crafty!

  1. Oh.... such a great card (and the cutest little heart shaker)!

  2. Squeal!!!! I LOVE your heart shaker stinkin' ca-YOOT!!! Thanks for throwing these challenges out to me. My post will be up soon!

  3. Wow! Very nice. I remember when I first learned about shaker cards they were made with foam board and the card was on it and cut out. I like the transformation to just a nice little piece that shakes. And sequins and glitter, can't go wrong with those.

  4. This is adorable! I love your heart shaped shaker! Thank you so much for playing along with us over at the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge!

  5. gasp, this is awesome. Love your glittery shaker card!
    Thanks for joining us at Curtain Call♥

  6. I love how you made the shaker card and paired it with that pretty patterned paper! Lovely take on the sketch!
